Kevon Looney was named as Most Impressive Prospect! efforts in the WIAA State Tournament. We are proud of you.
Running Rebels Community Organization, which has produced athletes such as Boo Wade, Kyle Weaver and Shannon Smith, is adding a few new names to the ever-growing list of talented basketball players. David Burrell (freshman), Kevon Looney (freshman), Jerrelle Savage (freshman), and Haki Stampley (senior) are all playing for the Milwaukee Hamilton High School Wildcats basketball team.
Since 1980, the Running Rebels Community Organization has been dedicated to developing Milwaukee’s youth mentally, physically and spiritually. By offering youth programs that focus on education and recreational activities, Running Rebels provides Milwaukee’s youth with positive alternatives to gangs and substance abuse.
Running Rebels Community Organization has its roots in basketball and is excited to add Burrell, Looney, Savage, and Stampley as Rebels making great strides in their basketball career. These young men will be joining the ranks of Kyle Weaver (former Oklahoma City Thunder player), Shannon Smith (former Indiana Pacers player), Maurice “Boo” Wade (former Wisconsin Badger player), and countless more.
